This Kin Matsuba is from breeder Marusei. Marusei is one of the biggest Koi farms in Niigata, who lays claim to two Grand Champions of the All Niigata Koi Show.
'Kin' means gold in Japanese and 'Matsuba' means pinecone, referring to the reticulated (netlike) black centres of the scales. So 'Kin Matsuba' koi is a metallic golden-yellow Koi with a black netting pattern. The metallic sheen (Hikari) gives this Koi an almost mirror-like appearance in the light.
